What we collect and why
- Orders: name, billing/delivery address, email, phone number and order details — to process and deliver your order, take payment, and meet our legal (including tax) obligations. Legal basis: performance of a contract; legal obligation.
- Payments: processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe acts as a processor/controller under its own privacy policy.
- Accounts: if you create an account, we store your details and order history so you can manage orders. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Enquiries: details you submit through our contact form or provide by phone/email — to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Uploaded files: drawings or images you upload when specifying bespoke glass — used solely to manufacture your order.
- Cookies and analytics: see our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can change at any time via the cookie banner.
Who we share data with
Delivery carriers (to deliver your order), Stripe (payments), our IT/hosting providers, and professional advisers where necessary. We do not sell personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy or standard contractual clauses) are used.
How long we keep it
Order and invoicing records are kept for 6 years plus the current year to meet tax and accounting obligations. Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and a reasonable period after.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
