    Arrised edges are ground smooth and safe to handle, right for glass that sits in a frame or channel. For glass whose edge is on show, such as shelves, table tops and splashbacks, choose polished (a bright, smooth edge) or bevelled. Polished adds £8.25 a metre.

    Made-to-measure 12mm toughened glass hearths, cut to the width and depth you enter. Arrised edges included; choose polished edges in the options for glass whose edge is on show. Thickness is 12mm only (not 4–10mm, not stove ceramic).

    Choose square/rectangle or circle. Semi-circle and teardrop shapes: upload a drawing. Minimum 0.25 m2 per pane (smaller panes are charged as 0.25 m2). Typical made-to-order lead time 7–10 working days.
